more tea-time wisdom

...battling a grey mood these days... battling the urge to panic – a buzzing that lies just below the surface that I'm managing to contain for the moment.

Yesterday, the snippet of wisdom on my tea-tag read, To be calm is the highest achievement of the self.

This statement hits a chord with me because I would love to feel a high level of calmness during all situations, but that's not how I'm wired. No wonder my yogi in tea-tag form says it's the highest achievement – because it just isn't easy to remain calm.

know what you mean - would be great to be able to remail calm in even the most stressful situations, but so hard to practise : )

I used to think I was a calm soul. Hehe, but as I get older, little frustrations are bothering me more and more! I need get back to calming the mind. It does take patience and practice and is a continual process. And maybe a little reminder from our tea bags every once in a while : ).
