On Sunday a woman parked in front of our house then spent a good hour picking up acorns in our yard.
Our gigantic oak tree spills acorns like a waterfall. The woman said she was gathering them to feed her fifteen squirrels. I still can't decide if this is cute or disturbing.
I tried feeding the squirrels once, & when I couldn't get the nuts out fast enough, the attacked! Let the varmints find their own nuts, I say! (but please take surveillance pics of the enabler.) -Other Heidi
Spending a rainy morning reading new blogs. Just wanted to let you know I stopped by. Wonder why anyone would want to attract squirrels? We had some in our garage last year. They can be so destructive!

Are they handicapped or prevented in some way from gathering nuts of their own?
Oh my, 15 little handicapped squirrels? Maybe! Now I wish I would have asked her if they were gathering impaired.
